Hey guys, I just downloaded the Civa INS add-on for FSX and for some reason, whenever I fly any aircraft where I have the Civa INS installed, the shift key and spacebar don't work. Anyone know why this is happening? Thanks :)

CIVA CDU gauges have a "Keyboard Capture Mode" (see manuals). If enabled it will capture ALL keys until it gets disabled. If it is DISabled then NO keys are captured.

No idea how it could happen that only shift and spacebar keys are "eaten", for sure it's not the INS...

I am aware of the keyboard capture mode, but I've never turned it on. Also, I only get this problem on aircraft equipped with the INS for some reason.

Which exact version of "simulator" are you using? Any chance it's the Steam Edition?

Yes, it's FSX Steam Edition.

With FSX-SE I remember CIVA related compatibility problems were originally reported.
Here (https://forums.flightsimlabs.com/index.php?/topic/5636-compatibility-with-fsx-steam-edition/) users reported that: "the CIVA gauge works if you disable the steam overlay"

I don't know if it is the same problem but I'd suggest you to try.
