Keyboard won't function when INS is started. (Read 35 times)

Keyboard won't function when INS is started.

When I load my CS 727 or 707 and start the align process my keyboard shortcuts no longer function as an example sht + p for pushback or ctl +z for the lon/lat. I have assigned a joystick button for pushback and this will work, but the other event keyboard shortcuts don't. I have EZCA installed and running and that works fine, the INS ADEU and NAV switches all work fine too the aircraft follows the route no probs.
Any advice would be welcome.

Go to FS9/CIVA/DOC/GAUGES USER MANUAL at paragraph KEYBOARD CAPTURE MODE you can find a note written in red color:
"When activated the gauge receives all inputs coming from the computer keyboard.To be able to use the keyboard to control Flight Simulator the
keyboard capture mode must be deactivated first."
