Add INS to Fokker 27
Aug 21st, 2018, 10:23pm

I bought the fokker 27 from justflight.
Navigation on this plane is not always easy due to the multiplicity of waipoints of the roads built on it and the rarefaction of the VOR and NDB.

I want to add a double INS to this plane!
I do not think that's completely delusional!

Could you please help me integrate it.
I'm just waiting for this to have fun on this plane!

I follow the "short" CFG panel.
Thank you for your help.

Luc.

Luc,

there is a manual just for that, civa/docs/PanelIntegrationManual.pdf

I cannot place gauges without having the panel, so you should at least initially try to add CIVA to panel.cfg by yourself.

Then, if you will have problems, I'll be happy to help.

Thank you for your nice answer.
After my first post, with the original panel, you will be able to read in this one, the modified panel.
I do not have the appearance of the panel Civa and have by against the round signal waiting on the mouse, when I select one of the two panels.

Could you help me please.
Truly.
Luc.

PS:I left panel default 737, should I put something else and if so which?

Hi Luc,

I don't know the plane you're using but I'd try moving (and not copying):

"gauge41=../civa/INS!Config, 0, 0, 0, 0, DefB734"

from [Window00] to [Vcockpit01]

I believe FS brings you to VC at startup, so 2D panel is not executed, and consequently INS does not activate.

Marco,
Thank you again for your answer.
As written in my first post, it is the Fokker 27 of Justflight.
Actually, it only has a 3D dashboard

I will try your solution as soon as possible and you will be informed
thank you very much, much good day.

I like you recommend to copy the sentence in the Vc01 nothing changes!
I copy all of the same paragraph to Vc01 nothing changes either!

Hi Luc,

Sure but since I don't own it I can't try doing what you're willing to do...

> I copy all of the same paragraph to Vc01 nothing changes either!

If it is a VC only plane then you will need to put all these:

gauge42=../civa/INS!NavModeDual, 239, 254, 45
gauge43=../civa/INS!UpdateFlags, 43, 41, 45
gauge44=../civa/INS!MsuPanelIcon, 167, 10, 13, 13, 40
gauge45=../civa/INS!CduPanelIcon, 153, 10, 13, 13, 41

in a separate popoup 2D window (as you did for CDUs and MSUs).

The problem now is this:

> gauge41=../civa/INS!Config, 0, 0, 0, 0, DefB734

Did you try specifying something like this?

[Vcockpit01]
file=$hsi_readout.bmp
size_mm=256,256
visible=1
pixel_size=256,256
texture=$hsi_readout

gauge00=../civa/INS!Config, 0, 0, 0, 0, JfF27
gauge01=Fokker_F27_new!hsi_main,  0,0,256,256

...it's just an experiment...  Undecided
