Title: ADEU usage?
Post by prowler on Jul 18th, 2007, 12:45am

Perhaps I've missed it, but , I can't find any documentation on  how to use the ADEU function. How do you create "cards" from an FS flightplan and then load it? That is the purpose...or am I mistaken?

Looking forward to using my new 1.50...just need a little help with CDEU and see my previous post RE DF 727 & CS  707.

Thanks gang!

Vic

The ADEU instructions are in :
FS9/CIVA/DOC/GAUGESUSERMANUAL

There is a utility named FS9toCIVA that can convert FS9 flight plans to create the ADEU cards.  I use it to convert the plans I create with FSBuild.

You should be able to find it in the avsim file library.

Hello everybody.

Why ADEU files appeare in the simulator after restart?

The problem is-
In FS i make a FPL in the FSNAV
Then i export it to FS2004 plan
After that i convert this plane to ADEU files and copy it to ADEU directory
In the FS i can't find it in ADEU gauges...but if i restart FS i find it. I'm only one who has this bug?

This is normal behavior, I believe. Like a lot of changes made to FS...a restart is required to activate them.

The INS gauge parses the ADEU directory at gauge startup time. I'm not sure, as I've never tried, but it might be sufficient to have FS reload INS gauges (switching aircraft?).

I'll take note of this problem and try to provide a solution in the next version.

Marco
