First I would like to say hi, and thanks for this amazing addon, it took me a while to get everything going, I eventually managed to install a triple-mixing INS in a different 707, and love flying David Maltbys VC10, which is CIVA INS compatible.

Truth is is did not have a very good panel on the 707 and can only receive NAV1 for some reason, so no dual DME updating.

As I fly for Pan Am VA I am keen to incorporate as many different 707s as I can.

The HJG 707-320 comes with a single INS, not this one. I have started by trying to install the triple INS as in the manual, using the sample 747 cfg as a guide. Ideally I want to delete the HJG INS as it does not work on my aircraft and replace it with the Civa gauge, for my own personal use only.

Not sure where the problem is, when I delete the INS and CDU gauges already installed on this panel it causes other clickpoints to crash FS9. I hope it is OK to post a panel cfg for any help. The lines I have highlighted show the entries for the CDU and MSU (called INS) gauges. The panel shows an Intro screen but this infact is redundant and does very little.

It looks like there are other gauges that are not happy if the "!msu" and/or "!ins" gauges are not there. I don't know where the 707-320.gau file comes from but you should ask the author, he knows for sure.

Hi John,

here's a workaround that I use, the original gauges are still there, but very small and off the viewable area.

I have 2 versions, the single uses the gauge positions of the original panel whereas the triple is a bit cluttered but is usable.

BE CAREFUL NOT TO USE THE INS SETTING ON THE AUTOPILOT this is still connected to the original INS gauge, use HDG instead.

Thank you so much, I will give that a try. I love flying the HJG 707s but the panel I have been having to use is so toylike, and its the same in every variant, I really want to be able to use the HJG panels.

Will have a go at programming this at the weekend.
