Title: 1.40 vs. 1.50
Post by tobir on Sep 29th, 2007, 11:27am

Hi guys,

is here anyone who has installed 1.40 and 1.50 simultaniously? I want to do this, because I want to take part of the advantages for the SSTSIM Concorde, but I still want to fly the Tinmouses I and II, which are only compatible to 1.40 at the moment.

I hope you can help me, or at least give me some hints, to do everything correct.

Tobias

There is the "hard way", install them in two different directories (something like "civa140" and "civa150") then, before starting FS, just rename the right one to "civa". Not very elegant nor comfortable but it works...

OK, I also thought about the way having one directory civa1.40 and civa1.50 and then editing all the links to the Civa Gauge in the panel.cfgs, that use the Civa INS, will give it a try, because I like the features of the 1.50  :o

Thanks for our reply.

Sorry but it will NOT work if you do that, CIVA gauges pretend to be installed in a subfolder named "civa"

I found that out, because of the 8-21 error. So I will stay with the 1.40 until all of my aircrafts are updated.
