I managed to align CIVA INS north of the equator. But whenever I venture into the southern hemisphere, I cannot align (stopping at 69).

Coordinates are, according to FS:

S4*1.89' E39*36.10

I wrote S04189 and E0393610 - but this seems not to work. Sorry for bother you with such a simple question. Thanks in nadvance

Hi,
you have to insert:

S04* 01.9' E039* 36.1'

Thank you. It worked. Wonderful. During flight the INS lost power (got the battery warning). Probably no correct electrical supply. Will have to find out which bus I forgot about on the plane (using Hilmerby's DC-9). Very steep learning curve for this thing - which I like. Thanks a lot!

Thank you very much, Gianfranco, I found a very helpful reply to this problem with the DC-9 at Stellan Hilmerby's (www.hilmerby.com) forum. Maybe it is of use for other CIVA INS users with different aircraft as well. It worked for me perfectly, just completed my first flight with an INS and without any electrical problems.

HI,
Don't you think that it's more easy after the Engine starting to connect the working DC9 generators to the electrical buses?
