Hello Marco,

First let me say thank you for this update! I've been waiting for the XML L:Vars for some time!
I did try to create my own some years back using the SDK/C++ provided files but was unsuccessful.

I did find an issue with an XML variable though:
In CivaX.gau and CivaX64.gau the variable/routine 'CivaCommandedHeading:n' does not exist (I used a text editor to search code).

The routine I found was 'CivaLegCommandedHeading:n' (3 instances).
After changing my XML script to include this variable everything worked perfectly.

Thanks again and regards, Paul

Paul,

thank you very much.
Unfortunately that is not the only error in the XML interface document, there are several L:VARS names which do not correspond to the ones actually used by the gauges  :-[

I will very soon upload a Beta 4 containing the corrected XML interface manual.

Once again thank you for reporting this error,
Marco

Hi Marco,
While doing a DME Update, the screenshot below shows the gauge when the DME STATION ELEVATION is to be loaded. The hardware displays I have built also show the same thing. I am not certain the dots (degree and decimal) and the 'N' ought to be lighted up in this case. Would you please clarify.
Thanks,
Chakko.

Hello Chakko,

honestly it does not look good but I'll have to check the source code to make sure it is not. I'll let you know.
