IFR Charles-De-Gaulle to Chicago-O'Hare Intl
Feb 20th, 2008, 4:04pm

Hi,
I initiated a flight on sunday (see mentioned above) with the awesome Gianfranco 's cards ADEU, by the way thanks a lot.
By now I flew LFPG-KORD_1_1-9 and ready to use LFPG-KORD_2_1-7, my question is how to do ...?
In another words, what would be the right time waypoint to press remote on all CDU and load the second card ?
I suppose when I will be ready to fly the LFPG-KORD_4_6-7, I will have to update the DME instead of load the LFPG-KORD_DME1_1-6 after or load it instead of update ?
Two more precisions, One I installed the NAT v.4, second my aircraft is the RFP 742.
I experienced also a strange proceed, when I saved my flight using the right MSU screw everything seems ok, but when I load it again, all my engines are off, and I have to fire up again the engines before to load the saved INS flight by pushing the screw.
I will really appreciate a strengh advice.
Cheers
S.

hi,
When you're flying the leg 8-9 you have to load the LFPG-KORD_2_1-7
when you're flying the leg 6-7 of LFPG-KORD_2 it's time to load the LFPG-KORD_3_8-5 and so on....
NAT4 has nothing corcerning the engines.
When you reload the saved situation you can hear the engines noise  and immediately you've to pose the flight.
The engines instruments are indicating all parameters because the engines are running but the Hyd systems are unpressurized due to RFP742 features
Check all panels and set all the switches properly as written in the check list into the DOC folder.

Thanks a lot, I will follow all your advises.
For sure, NAT v.4 has nothing concerning the engines. This precision was only to indicated you, I tried to follow your awesome Flightplan.
The second was just the opportunity to me to better manage this aircraft with your experience.
Again thank's a lot to share with us all your knowledges.
Cheers
S.
