SSTSIM Concorde INS and GPS
May 29th, 2008, 2:40pm

Hi Marco,

When I installed FS9 GPS (from the SSTSIM site) on the Concorde, the INS's lose their ADEU capability and fail at 899 knots. If I remove the GPS program, and re-install CIVA INS, I can fix the speed problem.

Is there a way to install the GPS on the Concorde without affecting the way the INS system operates?

Thanks,
Clive

Humm....that is strange as there are no (and there couldn't be) any conflict between CIVA (which uses autopilot HDG mode) and the GPS which uses autopilot NAV mode. Also ADEUs shouldn't have any problem. If there are no ADEUs then you have an old version of the CIVA.

I think you should ask SSTSIM, maybe it's a known problem/limitation.

Regards
Marco

Thanks Marco. I'll try SSTSIM.
