IVAO + CIVA INS
Nov 19th, 2010, 5:38pm

Hi guys,

I had the concorde a couple of windows installations ago, and i noticed that when i load the ivap [ivao.aero] client up with it, there is a big performance loss, i thought it was the concorde.

anyway, now i have the captain sim 707, the exact same thing has happened. and after testing, i am 99% certain it is a conflict between CIVA and the ivap client.
this effects all aircraft on ~FS.

It is to do with the DLL and/or EXE files in the program files,

any help?

Alex

Hi,
this is the first time I Know this conflict between IVAO and Civa INS.
To be sure that this is the real issue cause I suggest you to go in your .panel cfg and put before all civa INS gauge strings the sign //.
With this sign all civa gauges should be uninhabited and starting again FS you'll be able to check if the performances return to be normal.

It effects all aircraft, even without a ins,

It is also something to do, with the exe and dll files
in user>appdata

you know the FSX "roots Folder" in the c drive,

so users/appdata/roaming/microsoft/fsx

I uninstalled civa and had to then reinstall FSX, i am not home presently, but that is the only way to fix it
